Last night i saw an interesting drama on tv2 titled Aku Punya Kamu staring Cat Farish & Eja.Honestly i seldomly watched malay drama bcoz' i hate its story.Most of them are about mushy love & double standard life.But this drama was quite different bcoz' i can relate it to everyday life or may be mine.
It was about husband & wife with their 3 wonderful children.They are a very loving & romantic couple & their children are very understanding.They've been married for quite sometimes.But then come the problem until the wife had to leave home to make up her mind about their marriage & her life.
Their problem may be common & a small matter to most couple but if we didn't do something to overcome it,the marriage can be destroyed.The wife has a good job & good pay until she had to bear most of the household expenses.At the same time,she had to do all the house chores.To make it worst,she didn't has any help from her husband.The husband worked on his own.May be he does a business.Bcoz' of that he worked as he like;when he's in the mood,he'll work.
They're like a sky & earth.The wife is very professional look.She maintained her appearance while the husband looks very smudge.He's over weight.He loves to eat sambal petai & bcoz' of that his breath smelled petai.His dressing was so unkempt.While he was doing a talk to his wife's colleague,his hand scratch his belly infront of them.
Sometimes it's not fair when women had to do 2 jobs at the same time.The wife had to work as she knows that's the only way to improve their lifes.At the same time,she had to do all the house chores.His husband was so hopeless.What he did was sleep & eat, watching tv while eating & laying.Even the wife had to remind him when the bills haven't been paid yet.
Sometimes we tend to take our couple for granted.Bcoz' the wife is working with a good pay,the husband tend to work unseriously especially he works on his own.He knows that his wife's salary can pay all the bills & cover the house expenses.He treats her wife like his own worker as she had to do all the house chores while he only knows how to scatter the house.
Sometimes long time married couples (even the newly wed couple) tend to keep things slow, ez & unseriously.Since they've married,they (husband or wife)think that they don't have to work hard anymore to attract each other.For example,b4 this they tried to look best for each other, while in this drama,the husband becomes over weight & he doesn't take care of his appearance anymore.May be bcoz' as like most people think,they've already got their love one,so enough is enough of being look best all the time.So, as their couple have to accept it as they are.
I was mad with the husband bcoz' he has no innitiative to change.He seems didn't understand the problem or may be he thinks that it's not a big deal.& i guess when a problem happens,we can't run from it & closed our eyes as if it doesn't happen or it'll go away on sooner or later.& when we can't find a solution,one of the way to solve it is by staying apart for awhile,like what the wife did.It's the time for both of them to think of the problem.Some people said,it's time when we'll realize that we can't live apart & still need each other.If we've this feeling,it means that we still can save our marriage.
It's ok to seek opinion when we have problem with our couple but please find a trusted friend, family members or qualified counselor.In this case,the wife turns to her best friend & this friend only makes the problems bigger when she keeps on encouraging her to leave his husband by condemning & saying bad things about the husband.At the same time,she keeps on pushing this wife to be friend with their colleague, a man that always keeps his eyes on her.
Luckily,the wife suddenly realized that she still has those loving feeling towards her husband & at the same time the husband has realized his mistake & begins to change his attitude & appearance.
I guess this drama relates to every day life.I learned that we shouldn't take our couple for granted.Everyone has their own problem & every problem has its solution.Don't ruin a marriage bcoz' of a small & solvable problem.It takes years to build a marriages but it takes seconds to ruin it.
